Beaumont Portable Signs Bylaws
In Beaumont, portable signs are regulated under the City’s Land Use Bylaw. A development permit is required before placing a portable sign, and the following rules apply for Beaumont Portable Signs Bylaws:
- Private property only – Signs are not allowed on residential lots or public property.
- One sign per property – Each lot or condominium plan may only display one portable sign.
- Size limits – Maximum height of 2 m and total area of 4.5 m².
- Placement rules – Signs must be set back at least 1 m from property lines and 25 m from other portable signs.
- Parking restriction – Signs cannot be placed in parking stalls.
- Permit duration – Permits are valid for up to 1 year, with extensions available through the Development Authority.
