Here are Fort Saskatchewan Portable Sign Bylaws

• Permit Required – A valid development permit is mandatory before placing a portable sign; property owner consent must also be obtained.
• Definition & Size Limits – Portable signs are movable signs on trailers, frames, or stands. The maximum allowable copy area is 5.0 m².
• Placement Requirements – Signs must comply with minimum setbacks:
  • 1.5 m from any property line
  • 3 m from site access points
  • 5 m from any corner intersection
• Illumination – Portable signs must not be illuminated, unless otherwise approved at the discretion of the city.
• Separation Standards – Signs must be spaced at least 10 m apart (some locations may require up to 50 m, depending on the site).
